| Finding peace in an unsettled world |
Do you feel burdened by many things when you start your day?
If so, God wants you to know that you are truly loved by Him. God wants
you to know that He wants you to lay your burdens at His feet so that He
can carry your burdens for the day.
He wants nothing more than for you to give them to Him and for you to
know that He is there for you. That's right. He loves you and accepts you
right where you're at!!
He wants for you, regardless of where you are in life, regardless of the sins
and/or mistakes you've made, He simply wants you to be receptive to
sharing your life with Him.
Isn't that incredible? And sometimes even unfathomable that He would
choose you and me to be His children. What an honor to have God as our
Father. He can't even be compared to our earthly fathers. There is no
comparison.

The Lord blessed me with the talent of creativity a few years ago and I
wanted to share some of that with you.
I don't mind the challenge of having 'nothing' for a budget to work with.
And I'm sure that a lot of you are having to learn how to make it work.
It doesn't take much to make me smile. I have been blessed in so many
ways.
I think parenting is the most important job you will ever have. Raising a
child in today's world is a great challenge. I believe the Lord gives us all
the tools we need, right when we need them. If you do not take an
active role in your child's life, there are many other people and things
that will easily try to steal your child away from you.
We, as parents, are constant role models for our children. Are you
proud of what you're modeling to your children? Are you showing them
what's important in life? If that means sitting in front of the television at
the end of the day because you are tired, your child has a disappointing
role model.
Oh, and the church thing. When was the last time you graced a church
with your presence? Has it been awhile? The Lord simply wants you to
take time with Him
By the way, the Lord is ALIVE AND WELL TODAY!!
I place this day, my life, my loved ones... in the Lord's hands. There is no harm in the Lord's hands, only good. Whatever happens, whatever results, if we are in the Lord's hands, it is the Lord's will and it is good. Norman Vincent Peale |
